Barkhalla Studios GmbH ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your data.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and store information when you use Hexactly.

1. Information We Collect

Hexactly is designed to run without requiring an account or personal information.

The game stores the following data locally on your device:

• level progress, stars and completion status
• your in-game profile (display name, avatar, coins and experience)
• settings (e.g. music/sound volume, language, and your analytics choice)

If — and only if — you agree to share anonymous play data (see section 4), the game also sends us anonymous gameplay information.

We do not collect:

• real names
• physical addresses
• government identification
• contact details
• advertising identifiers or advertising profiles
• precise location

2. In-App Purchases

Hexactly offers optional in-app purchases to unlock additional levels.

These purchases are processed entirely by the platform you downloaded the game from (Google Play or the Apple App Store). We do not receive or store your payment details — payment information is handled directly by Google or Apple according to their own privacy policies.

We may receive confirmation that a purchase was completed, so the game can unlock the corresponding content, but this does not include your payment information.

The terms governing this purchase, including refunds, are set out in our End User License Agreement (see the Hexactly legal page) and in the store's own terms of sale.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Progress, profile and settings data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Uninstalling the game or clearing its data will permanently delete this information.

Anonymous play data you choose to share (section 4) is typically retained for up to 12 months, and may be deleted or aggregated earlier.

4. Anonymous Play Data (Optional)

When you first open Hexactly, we ask whether you want to share anonymous play data to help us improve the game. It is off unless you agree, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings.

If you agree, the game sends us information about how the game is played, for example:

• when the game is opened
• which levels are started, completed, left unfinished or get stuck
• moves used, stars earned, undos, restarts and time spent on a level
• in-game milestones such as unlocking an avatar or reaching a new player level
• whether the in-game premium prompt was shown and whether a purchase was made (no payment details)
• the game version and the platform (e.g. Android)

To tell sessions of the same installation apart, the game creates a random identifier on your device. It is not linked to your name, your account, your device's hardware or advertising identifiers.

When this data reaches our servers, we also process technical request information (such as the app's user agent). Your IP address is not stored; we keep only a one-way hash of it to protect the service against abuse.

We use this data only to understand how the game is played and to improve it — for example, to find levels that are too hard or too easy. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties.

The data is processed on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time in Settings; the game then stops sending data.

Hexactly does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

5. Children's Privacy

Hexactly is a general-audience puzzle game.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by local laws without appropriate parental consent — in part because we do not require or collect personal information to play the game. Anonymous play data is only sent if the player agrees to share it, and it does not identify the player.

If you believe personal information from a child has been collected improperly, please contact us.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have the right to:

• request access to your data
• request deletion of your data
• request correction of inaccurate data
• object to certain processing activities
• withdraw your consent to anonymous play data at any time

Since Hexactly stores progress and settings locally on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the game. You can stop sharing anonymous play data at any time in Settings.

Because anonymous play data is linked only to a random identifier and not to you, we generally cannot identify which data belongs to a particular person. For any request, contact us at:

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
